About

Chloe Hsu has experience as a storyboard artist on animated family and adult television series and movies as well as comic work, illustrations, and licensing.

The first industry job she worked on was as a storyboard artist and revisionist on the Emmy winning Netflix series City of Ghosts by Elizabeth Ito.

She also works with Chromosphere Studios on a variety of projects, including the Annie nominated Airbnb advertisement “The Good Guest Guide to Japan”, the Emmy nominated title sequence for Green Eggs and Ham Season 2, as well as a comic series with the National Renewable Energy Laboratories to teach kids about sustainable energy.

Chloe has also worked on a feature film in development directed by Bob Logan and produced by Jamie Foxx, and on several pilots for adult television series through Titmouse and Six Point Harness.

She attended CalArts as an undergraduate in the BFA Character Animation program before being contacted by Netflix.

She has been freelancing for video games, animation, illustration, and graphic design since high school for a variety of clients.

In addition to animation, she loves telling stories (primarily through comics), values learning and helping others when she can, sewing, and is also part of a women’s basketball league!

She is skilled in Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Flash, TVPaint, and has working knowledge of Maya, After Effects, Premiere, Unity, ProTools, and Dragonframe.
